I'm sure I'm revealing my age here, but I've had much fun in the last week indulging in my long-time Gatchaman fandom. Between watching episodes from the original series and reading some amazing fanfics, it was like taking a journey back to an alternate version of my childhood (since the American version I watched in elementary school was soooo different and watered down from the real thing). Man those characters have been running around in my head for a long, long time.

Finished a full draft of something, first time in ages. Feels gooooood. :)

Working on some fiction and wondering how some characters manage to go from sexy to whiny in mere seconds. Ugh.

Edited to add: It occurs to me that being really tired might have something to do with it. ;)

I've finally got a bit of new fiction out there. Here's a short fanfic I'm calling "Dumpster Diver," based in juxtaposefantsy's Juxtapose City universe. Short and sweet in both topic and length, and totally worksafe (aw, why do you look so sad?)

Prop 8 was struck down in CA today! One step toward equality. People need to stop worrying less about how people love one another and worry more about they hate one another.

So, I finally had the funds/time to pick up a new game. There are a lot of games I want, but I ended up settling for Dragon Age: Origins. In part because I know a lot of people who like it. In part because I know a lot of people who like it because the characters can get it on, including same-sex pairings.

I haven't encountered a chance to do that yet but perverse lil me is definitely watching for one. :)

So glad that after over a year of being on medication for diabetes, I haven't gained back the weight I've lost. It was possible that I'd lost it purely from becoming diabetic.
